We are pleased to invite you to join the 34th World Schoolchildren's Art Exhibition, from September 1 to October 1, 2003, in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. We sincerely welcome the worldwide schoolchildren's talented art works.

1. Purpose: This exhibition it to promote mutual understanding and friendship among the younger generation of the world through exchange of children's art works.

2. Organizers: The Association for Education through Art, Republic of China; The Association of Formative Art Education for the Republic of China

3. Qualifications for participation: Primary and elementary schoolchildren aged 6-15

4. Works for participation:

(1) Varieties:oil painting, water colors painting, woods cut prints, pencil sketch, crayon drawing, pastel, collage, etching, design, etc.

(2) Size:within 55cm X 40 cm;

(3) Number of works: the number of art works from each child is limited to one only. The following information is requested to be given in English on each entry:

(a) full name of the child; (b) date & place of birth; (c) sex and nationality; (d) name and address of the school or institution; (e) all works for participation will not be returned.

5. Deadline: Entries should be reaching the Association for Education through Art, Republic of China by May 1, 2003.

6. Prizes: After the Committee of Judges for this event makes a recommendation, and the certificates and medals will then be presented to the selected participants whose works show special excellence.
